The purpose of the Manual Data Migration Plan is to define the scope and approach for bringing legacy data into the SAP database where automated programs are either not available or the data volume does not justify the investment in developing such programs.  Many implementation tasks depend on the availability of manually entered data and the execution of this task can be resource intensive, so formal planning is required to successfully complete this effort. This plan should be approved and signed off by key stakeholders and project management.
